The infection preventing concept "Bare Below the Elbow"

Bare below is a concept to prevent the transmission of pathogens through touch or by the uniforms of healthcare workers.In which the workers need to follow some basic rules like Short sleeves must be worn,No wrist jewellery is permitted,No rings are permitted except a wedding band,Neck ties are not permitted,White (lab) coats are not permitted.
Neck ties and white coats are not permitted in healthcare uniforms because these are laundered infrequently which can cause infection.
